Adding an account

Adding an account

  1. Accounts tab → + (Mac: ⌘ N).
  2. Search for your bank under Find or add an institution. Picking one adds its logo for you.
  3. Enter a nickname, like “Primary”. For property, enter a name instead, like “Our Home”.
  4. Choose the Account Type and set the Tax Status.
  5. Choose the owner. Pick two for a joint account.
  6. Enter the balance and Balance Date, then Save.

Tap the logo next to the institution name to choose a different one:

  • Search: find a logo by company name or website
  • Emoji: use an emoji instead, like 🏠 for your home or 🚗 for a car
  • Upload: choose a photo from your library
  • Saved: reuse a logo from one of your other accounts

To remove it, tap the logo → Delete.

Projection details

  • Assets: Expected Return and Monthly Contribution
  • Liabilities: Loan Rate (APR) and Monthly Payment
  • Include In Projections: turn off to leave the account out

You can also set a Nickname, Currency, Notes, and a logo or emoji.

Many accounts?

Import them from CSV.

Closing an account

Open it → Edit → Close → Close Account. The balance becomes 0 and it’s left out of projections, but its history stays. To reopen it, choose Show Closed Accounts from the ••• menu, open it, and tap Edit → Reopen.
