Records

Records keep the important details around your money in one place: who to call, what you’re covered for, and what your family should know. Your accounts show what you have. Records explain how it all works.

  • Insurance: life, home, auto, disability, or umbrella policies, with the company and coverage amount. In an emergency, your family knows what coverage exists and who it’s with.
  • Contacts: your financial advisor, CPA, attorney, or insurance agent, with phone, email, and website. Tap to call, email, or copy.
  • Notes: anything else worth writing down, like where the will is kept, how bills get paid, or beneficiary decisions.

Adding a record

  1. Records tab → + (Mac: ⇧ ⌘ R).
  2. Choose Insurance, Contact, or Note.
  3. Fill in the details and owner, then Save.

Records use the same owners as accounts, so profile selection filters them too. Use ••• → Group By to sort them by type or owner.

Attachments

Add up to five photos, PDFs, or scans to any record, like a policy declaration page or a signed document.

Reminders

Add a Reminder to any record, once or repeating, like a yearly policy review or a quarterly check-in with your advisor. Requires notifications: Settings → Notifications → Allow Reminders.

Records in your PDF statement

A PDF statement can include your records as tables after your accounts:

  • Insurance: institution, owner, policy, and coverage
  • Contacts: company, owner, name, phone, and email
  • Notes: title, owner, and the full note

That turns your statement into a single summary of who to call and what’s in place, not just what you’re worth. It’s an easy way to hand a spouse, adult child, or executor everything they’d need.
