Tax Categories card
The Tax Categories Dashboard card shows how your money splits across tax types in two bars:
- Current: today’s balances
- Projected: your balances in the year the latest Retirement Age is reached
Switch between % and amounts at the top. Accounts set to None, like mortgages and loans, aren’t included.
This makes it easy to see your tax diversification. Money in Roth, tax-deferred, and after-tax accounts is taxed differently when you withdraw it. A healthy mix gives you more flexibility to manage taxes in retirement, and the projected bar shows whether today’s contributions are moving you toward that mix.
