Projection stats
Every projection chart, on the Dashboard and on each account, shows a stat at the top right. Tap it to cycle to the next one. Your choice is remembered.
While you drag across the chart, the stat updates for that month. Otherwise it shows the end of the projection.
Age
Each person’s age at that point, like 65, 62. Handy for answering “how old will we be when we hit $1M?”
Contributions
The total you’ll add through monthly contributions by that point.
The chart adds a gray line for your starting balance plus contributions. The gap between it and the projection is growth: what your money earned on its own.
Withdrawal
The financial industry often estimates future income from an asset using a Safe Withdrawal Rate, with 4% most commonly used. This stat indicates how much income your projected balance could support. It’s the future balance × your Safe Withdrawal rate, shown per month.
Change the rate (2–10%) in Settings → Charts & Lists → Safe Withdrawal. Turn on Withdrawal Per Year to show a yearly amount. On Net Worth, debts are subtracted first.
Wealth Multiplier
A Wealth Multiplier is a useful stat to help understand if you invest one dollar today, what will it grow to in the future? For example, a Wealth Multiplier expressed as 5.4x means a single dollar will grow to $5.40 at the end of the projection. It comes from the account’s Expected Return compounded over the years, so it doesn’t depend on the balance or contributions.
This stat is only shown on individual account projections.
Interest Paid
For liabilities: the total interest you’ll pay before that point.
The chart adds a gray line for interest building up over time. A higher Monthly Payment pays a debt off sooner and flattens that line.
Shown on the Liabilities projection and on individual loans, mortgages, and credit cards.
